Photoflex Limited Warranty for StarFlash

Any additional warranty other than what is stated in the following “Limited Warranty” is totally up to the discretion of Photoflex Products.

Duration of the Warranty

Photoflex Products Inc. warrants their StarFlash strobe light products to be free from factory defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, subject to the following qualifications, conditions, and limitations contained in this warranty.

Parts and Items Not Covered by Warranty

Parts normally considered expendable are not covered by the warranty such as: modeling lamps, fuses, flash tubes, diffusers, and painted and plated finishes.

Limitations and Conditions

This “Limited Warranty” does not cover products that have been operated as follows:

Photoflex Products at all times reserves the right to examine the defective unit or part, and determine to our satisfaction whether or not the defect is a direct result of defective material or factory workmanship.

Items are not covered by the Photoflex Products “Limited Warranty” which, in our judgment, have received normal service regardless of the period of time they have been in service. Any non-qualified service invalidates the Limited Warranty. This “Limited Warranty” applies only to its own products. Photoflex Products is not responsible for losses incurred due to lost time or materials.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the owner of the item in service.

Obtaining Warranty Service

The defective unit or parts, with satisfactory proof of purchase date must be prepaid to Photoflex Products, or to an authorized Photoflex Products service agent. Carefully pack and insure items as we are not responsible for damage claims, or damage claims denied because of insufficient packing.

The lamp cover should always be attached to the StarFlash unit when shipping. Owner should remove flash tube when shipping to prevent damage or must have lamp cover properly attached.

The repaired unit will be prepaid back to the user by the most economical means. Any special handling such as Air Freight, etc., will be the responsibility of the user.

Replacements

We limit our responsibility to repair units or parts in working condition. It is not Photoflex Products’ responsibility or policy to replace units or refund the purchase price.

Warranty Registration

We encourage all StarFlash owners to register their product early to expedite service in the case of repair under warranty. Please retain your receipt from the StarFlash retailer. Photoflex has right to validate purchase date to qualify warranty.
